Sousse

The medina of Sousse built on the slope of a hill is well-know for its rich historical heritage and for featuring port el kantaoui, a premier garden port of the Mediteranean with its marina, luxuriousarabic-andalusian architecture.
Sousse is encircled by crenellated ramparts to protect the town from invaders, its ancient medina bustles with activity under the towering walls of the ribat, fortified 11th century monastery. Other historic treasures include the fortress-like Great Mosque and the Catacombs, used as burial chambers by the Christians of Sousse between the second and fourth centuries. The large souk quarter in the medina overflows with colorful little shops selling silver and gold jewellery, copper goods, porcelain, leather bags, spices, olive oil and more.

Monastir

Monastir is a traditional Tunisian Town, where ancient history sits side by side with modern amenities, including a showpiece Conference Centre and an elegant yachting marina. Overlooking the beach is the majestic ninth century rabat, once a fortified monastery, now home to a museum of Islamic arts. Other attractions include the Great Mosque, built between the ninth and eleventh centuries, and the beautiful Habib Bourguiba Mausoleum, which houses the tomb of modern Tunisia's first president.

Djerba

Djerba is the island of lotophages supposedly discovered by Ulysse. It is a very unique island in Tunisia that has its own very distinctive identity. A quarter of its inhabitants speak Berber dialects and it is home to a small Jewish community.
The capital Houmt Souk has a lively market, a thirteenth century fort, a Baroque Catholic Church and unusual Islamic architecture in the Mosque of the Turks and the Mosque of the Strangers.
In the middle of this flat island is the Ghriba Synagogue which has one of the oldest Torahs in the world, and is still visited by Jewish pilgrims from all over the world.

Hammamet

Backed by orange and lemon groves and lines of cypress trees, Hammamet is Tunisian’s preferred resort with its magnificent sandy beaches that stretch for miles and the charms of its perfumes and colors. Set on a rocky promontory, the town's ancient medina contains a warren of narrow streets. Its old fort, with waves crashing against it, offers splendid views of the coast and the gardens of orange trees and jasmine plants.
