| Golf citrus in Hammamet is a real golfing center, first open in 1992 with a large driving range, a 9 hole compact course and two championship courses: Les Oliviers, a motivating course for all, and la Foret, a relatively more difficult course which will offer a challenge to low-handicap golfers. Only a few minutes from the sea and the Hammamet hotel area, the Yasmine golf course was designed by Ronald Fream. The delicate lines of the course meander through the hills between the sea and the forest. Full advantage has been taken from the site to give exceptional views of the sea and the typical landscape of the Hammamet region. Due to its numerous tee-offs per hole, it is suitable for players at all levels. |

| In Tunisia, you’ll have the opportunity of playing golf in breathtaking settings, including courses overlooking the Mediterranean sea and in the middle of the Sahara desert, and in excellent technical conditions. Tunisia has eight picturesque contrasting courses, open all year round under a blue sky in mild-year round temperatures. The Tabarka golf boasts an exceptional setting of pine forests, ponds and sand dunes framed by mountains and overlooking a splendid sea landscape. The course, designed by Ronald Fream, offers a very varied and technical layout capable of satisfying golfers of all levels as well as tournament organizers, particularly the outstanding 7 hole by the edge of the sea, which takes advantage of the natural layout of the dunes and rocks. Built in 1927, the golf of Carthage was one of the very first in Africa. It draws a special charm from its old Tunisian style premises and rich Mediterranean vegetation, pines, cypresses, mandarin trees, centuries-old eucalyptus trees..Renovated in 1991 by architect Yves Bureau, with the addition of two artificial lakes, it is a technical course which requires skill and precision. |
Magnificently situated on a plateau covered with thousands of olive trees, the Monastir park golf course is laid out over terraced valleys in a verdant, undulating landscape overlooking the sea. The course designed by Ronald Fream, is extremely sporting and technical. The fairway straddle ravines, follow the contour of the hills and gently slope into the water hazards. Players need to alternate power and precision and have to compete with the wind and the large, carefully sited water obstacles. Five tees for each hole enable the course to adapt to all levels of players. The clubhouse offers an ideal stop-off between the ninth and tenth holes. From the cliff overlooking the water hazards, there is a superb view of the whole golf course. Located mid-way between Monastir and Sousse, a few minutes from the hotels and beaches, the Palm Links golf course extends over a natural terrain of dunes and palm trees. The course, suitable for all levels was designed by Chris Pitman. A golf academy with numerous facilities offers a pleasant setting for lessons and training. Designed by Martin Hawtree, the Djerba golf course stretches between sea and sand on a layout dotted wit palm trees. The nine hole layout offers combinations suitable for all levels of play. Players have to compete with the bunkers, the narrowness of some of the fairways, and the strong sea wind, particularly on the ninth hole “the sea” which borders the beach. The Golf Oasis gold course is currently being built in the middle of the Sahara desert. It uses and ingenious system of water recycling. PromoTunisia’s chairman is currently overseeing this effort. |
| In the heart of the superb integrated resort of Port El Kantaoui and close to its marina, El Kantaoui golf is a top-level golf course designed by a team of international architects. It includes two championship courses laid out over morphologically different terrain: The “sea course” extending from the beach to the hills, and the “panorama course”, which starts at the hill and encircles the resort’s hotels and residences. The layout offers panoramic views over the whole resort. Various ancient elements have been preserved, such as old wells, an ancestral irrigation canal, olive and pomegranate trees and centuries-old palm trees which have been complemented by the recent plating of numerous trees of different species. |
