Payment Schedule PromoTunisia requires a US$350 deposit per person (applied to the tour price) to reserve a space upon application for the tour. Balance is due 60 days prior to departure. If reservation is made within 60 days of the date of departure, full balance is due at time of booking. Payment is by cash, check, money order or wire transfer. Airfare is additional. PromoTunisia will be happy to assist. If you are making your own airline reservation, check with our staff before purchasing your tickets. We need to verify schedule and ensure we have enough participants to operate the trip. Trip General Information This trip is designed for adults who are interested in learning more about the area than commercial trips offer. No special educational level or background is required. This program is moderately strenuous: walking and climbing stairs and or natural sites are sometimes required. All trip members are expected to be in good health, to enjoy traveling as part of a small group (no more than 15 persons) and to be ready to experience cultural differences with grace. What is Included The cost of the program is based on a total package of land arrangements made by PromoTunisia. If another schedule is necessary, arrangements can be made through PromoTunisia on an individual basis. • Accommodations for 13 nights in luxury hotels. Price is based on double occupancy • Continental or Buffet Breakfast included throughout. Lunch and Dinner daily (see tour description for one exception Lunch the day prior to departure) • All tours as per itinerary including entrance fees and English-speaking guidance by renowned guides, prominent lecturers on such fields as history and archeology. • Transfers by air-conditioned motor-coach and 4 wheel drive vehicles • Local one way airfare Djerba to Tunis • Baggage handling for one bag plus one carry-on bag. Baggage weights are limited to a maximum of two bags per person with a combined length, width and height of 107 inches, provided no bag exceeds 62 inches, plus one carry-on bag with total dimensions of no more than 45 inches. • Transfers to and from all airports and hotels in Tunisia • All local taxes and service charges on included items What is Not Included • Roundtrip airfare to Tunisia is additional. PromoTunisia offers special rates from various US gateways • Airport taxes, tipping to guide, driver, hotel and restaurant staff, items of a personal nature (Phone calls, valet/laundry charges, visa, passport fees, immunizations..) • Transfers to and from airports for persons not using or meeting group flights • Meals except as outlined above. Meals do not include alcoholic beverages, a-la-carte orders, room service • Expenses incurred by PromoTunisia in making individual travel arrangements in conjunction with the tour and other items not specifically mentioned as included • Provisions for Kosher or other dietary restrictions, except where indicated in itinerary, cannot be guaranteed. • Excess baggage charges • Complimentary activities in the hotels such as Thalasso activities • Travel insurance, medical, hospitalization or evacuation costs. High limit medical and evacuation insurance is mandatory. It is strongly recommended to purchase trip cancellation, trip interruption as well as baggage and personal possessions coverage for total protection and peace of mind on your trip.
