| Single/Shared Rooms Whenever possible, PromoTunisia will assist persons requesting a roommate. However as shared arrangements cannot be guaranteed, we will require the single supplement if suitable roommates cannot be found. Cancellations and Refunds If cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to departure, there will be a US$350* per person cancellation charge. If cancellation is made 30 to 60 days prior to departure, there will be a 50% of total tour cost cancellation charge. If cancellation is made 7 to 30 days prior to departure, there will be a 75% of total tour cost cancellation charge. No refunds for “no shows” or for cancellations within 7 days of departure. Purchasing trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. No refunds will be made for unused portions of the trip. All cancellations must be made in writing and processed according to the date the written notice is received. A service charge of $75 per booking will apply for each change made after the initial booking request has been confirmed. *: if you take another PromoTunisia trip within one year, the $350 deposit can be applied to that trip Changes in itinerary and cost PromoTunisia makes every effort to carry out the tour itinerary as described. However, PromoTunisia reserves the right to make modifications. The tour is based upon current airline fares and currency exchange rates at time of application and assumes a minimum of 10 tour participants (max=15). While PromoTunisia will do everything possible to maintain the price listed here-in, it is subject to change. If it is necessary to impose a surcharge due to participation of less than 10 participants, you will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation including insufficient signup or logistical problems that may hinder operations, all monies are fully refundable. The refund of all land payments received shall release PromoTunisia from any further liability. PromoTunisia must normally make substantial payments to its suppliers (hotels, transportation companies, etc.) far in advance of the scheduled tour date. If a trip is canceled due to force majeure (acts of God, war, labor strikes, earthquake, flooding, etc.), PromoTunisia will promptly refund the portion of the trip cost not already advanced to suppliers and use its best efforts to recover and refund the balance as promptly as possible. However, PromoTunisia does not guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made, and our use of best efforts to recover these payments will not include the institution of any legal proceedings in foreign jurisdictions. PromoTunisia is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparing for a canceled trip (e.g., nonrefundable advance purchase air tickets, visa fees, immunizations, equipment, etc.) or for any additional arrangements should the trip member have embarked prior to the scheduled group departure date. PromoTunisia shall not be liable for: (a) expenses such as additional hotel nights and meals not specified in the individual trip itineraries that may be required either en route, prior to, or following a trip, when caused by individual clients' travel arrangements, by airline scheduling or airline schedule changes, canceled flights, missed flight connections, or by other factors not under PromoTunisia’s control; (b) expenses incurred in recovering luggage lost by airlines, belongings left behind on a trip, or in shipping purchases or other goods home from abroad; (c) bodily injury or property damage for any reason, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance, theft, default, detention, annoyance, changes in government regulations, terrorism, war, or failure of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, etc., over which it (PromoTunisia) has no control. Insurance High limit medical and evacuation insurance is mandatory. PromoTunisia requires that clients either purchase or already possess emergency medical evacuation insurance and medical expense insurance for every trip. Clients must verify to PromoTunisia that they are already covered before we can issue travel documents. Every PromoTunisia client must complete, sign and return to us an Insurance Verification form. Although optional, we also strongly recommend you consider purchasing trip cancellation, trip interruption as well as baggage and personal possessions coverage for total protection and peace of mind on your trip. Trip cancellation insurance pays for unused and non-refundable prepaid trip arrangements if you must cancel or interrupt a trip for a variety of covered reasons. Airline Clause The airlines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and such purchasers of these tours and/or passengers. Such conveyance, etc. is subject to the laws of the countries involved. Note on Air Ticketing We will assist with your air reservations and offer you the option of travel extensions at no extra cost other than those imposed by the airlines. However, we cannot anticipate extension preferences in our block space booking, and during holiday periods flights are very difficult to book. Be prepared to commit to travel dates as early as possible. All air tickets can be purchased through PromoTunisia. However, if you should for any reason not purchase your air tickets through PromoTunisia, you will be invoiced any extra charges accrued to meet the group. Also, if you do not make your air arrangements through PromoTunisia and we are forced to cancel a trip due to lack of registrants, PromoTunisia is not responsible for refunding the purchase price of the tickets you purchase. |
